Description of project:
The General Health Center's atrium is a three-story, sunlit area designed to give patients and their family members exposure to the healing benefits that they believe being surrounded by nature can have.

The atrium's interiorscape is the Center's focal point, and 200 individual planters are dispersed in other areas of the Center. Even its promotional literature and wall coverings, which encompass leaf designs, reflect the Center's commitment to plants and the environment of healing. It's become a model for the concept of wellness and preventative health.

INTERIORSCAPE CONTRACTOR: Heroman Services Plant Company

DESIGNERS: Lorrie Henslee, Van Cox and Pat Heroman

MAJOR FOLIAGE SUPPLIERS:  Farm Life, Tropical Foliage and Suncoast Nursery
