2001 Best Project Award Interiorscape Magazine Santa Rosa Mall
For maximum efficiency, all containers and plants were coded in advance with their intended location in the 800,000-square-foot mall. Direct planted trees required installers to clean up alongside the mall’s night janitorial crew. Palms described as a cross between pintos and queens are underplanted with petite spathiphyllum.
Four 16-foot palms and 10 17-foot Ficus Midnight underplanted with English Ivy invite diners to the mall’s food court. A grand opening party in the mall’s center court unveiled the new plantscape to the public.
